Davis Welcomes Special Guests

The Davis Academy Middle School was pleased to host former Israeli pro basketball star, LaVon Mercer on Feb. 7. 

LaVon worked with the students on basketball skills and inspired them with his messages about hard work and his love of Israel. Davis students enjoyed LaVon's coaching.  Many had him autograph their PE shirts!

Davis students were also fortunate to learn from two literary guests recently:  Award-winning author Eric Kimmel and Native American author and story teller Joseph Bruchac. 

Technology Winners!

Congratulations to the following Seventh Grade students who competed and placed in the North Atlanta Jewish Students Tech Fair:  Matt Diamond - 1st place in the Multimedia Applications Category; Caitlyn Margol  - 1st place in the Digital Video Production Category; Sophie Zelony - 2nd Place in the Digital Video Production Category.
