Emily Brothman graduated from North Springs High School in 2017 and earned a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland in 2021. She currently works as a 5th-grade teacher and resides in Washington, D.C. She serves as Chair of the Community Service Committee, where she plans the school’s annual Community Service Night. Emily also demonstrates leadership as a 5th grade team leader and an elected Faculty Representative for the union, all while continuing her studies in preparation for graduate school. She will be transitioning out of the classroom at the end of this school year as she prepares to move to Chicago to pursue a Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology.
