"When I started high school, I wanted to take the hardest classes I could, and I felt ready for that because of Davis. Davis really prepared me for challenging coursework and gave me the confidence to take it on. Outside of academics, I got involved in many leadership opportunities and extracurricular activities. I feel those interests stem from Davis as well, since Davis pushed me to put myself out there, taught me how to get involved, and helped me discover what I’m capable of. Davis also taught me a lot about what it means to be Jewish on a deeper level, and it really made me proud to be Jewish. I’ve carried that with me into high school. Even at a big public high school, I’ve been able to find a Jewish community while also keeping my community from Davis."
