Sophie Katz '2022 graduated from Norcross High School and will attend the United States Military Academy at West Point. She earned honors including AP Scholar with Distinction, Georgia Merit Scholar, and multiple academic awards, while consistently making the Honor Roll. Sophie served as Captain of Norcross Varsity Soccer, earning recognition as a two-time Region Goalkeeper of the Year, All-County First Team, and All-State honoree, while also competing at a national level in club soccer. Founded and led the Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) and was an active member of the National Honor Society. Deeply committed to service, Sophie volunteered locally and in Israel, demonstrating leadership, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose.

At The Davis Academy, I developed a strong sense of self-worth and trust in myself to be headstrong and to follow my own path.
