Difference Makers
The Davis Academy Alumni Tzedek Grant
Founded in 2016, The Davis Academy Alumni Tzedek Grant recognizes and supports charitable initiatives by our graduates. These efforts exemplify The Davis Academy’s menschlichkeit values of Tzedek, a Hebrew word that means righteousness or justice. Open to high school and college-age alumni, the grant is an opportunity to advance the efforts of our alum who continue to carry our Davis values out into the world beyond their years at Davis. Each year, we are proud to award Tzedek Grants to outstanding recipients and recognize the difference they are making in their communities.
If you’re currently in high school or college and you’re a Davis Academy alum, then you’re eligible to submit a proposal. Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of current Davis Academy faculty and administration and a limited number of proposals will be awarded grants up to $200 each. Your proposal can be for a new or existing project, as long as you’re passionate about it, occupy a leadership role, and able to demonstrate how it fulfills our menschlichkeit value of Tzedek (“Righteousness/ Justice”).
Accepting proposals starting February 5, 2024.
Last day to submit proposal is February 29, 2023.
