The second graders wrapped up their Habitats Unit with an exciting trip to Pine Mountain Animal Safari! Students observed animals from a variety of habitats and enjoyed making real-world connections between what they had learned in class and the animals they encountered. One of the highlights of the day was riding an open-air bus and feeding the animals up close.
