Small Fish, Big Lessons for Davis Third Graders

Davis third graders recently marked an exciting achievement—sending their classroom-raised trout off into the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Over the past few months, students cared for the fish from egg to fry, all while learning about ecosystems and the importance of clean waterways.

The big release day was filled with smiles as students watched their trout swim free, turning classroom lessons into a meaningful, real-world experience in environmental stewardship.
