Registration for Middle School VEX Robotics Club Open Now

Middle School VEX Robotics Club!

Ready to build something amazing? In VEX Robotics, you’ll work with a team to design, build, and program real, large scale robots using the international VEX IQ system. You’ll learn hands-on skills in engineering and coding as you create robots that can drive by remote and operate autonomously. Our goal: build a competitive team and take on other schools in exciting robotics challenges.

The club meets for 12 sessions on Mondays from 3:25-4:30pm in the Robotics Lab connected to the back of the library on the following dates:

  • January 26th
  • February 2nd
  • February 9th
  • February 23rd
  • March 9th
  • March 16th
  • March 30th
  • April 13th
  • April 20th
  • April 27th
  • May 4th

The total club cost is $400. If you like problem-solving, creativity, and cool tech, this is the club for you!

Registration and payment must be submitted by Thursday, January 8. There are no refunds once a club begins.

WAIVER AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of my child being allowed to participate in one of the after-school classes offered during the after-school enrichment of The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy (“Davis Academy”), and to use its facilities and equipment, and in addition to the payment of any fee or charge, I waive, release and forever discharge The Davis Academy and its officers, agents, employees, representatives, executors, and all others from any and all responsibilities or liability for injuries or damages to my child resulting from my child’s participation in any classes in the above-mentioned facilities or arising out of my child’s participation in any classes at said facilities.

I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Davis Academy, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all injuries, damages, lawsuits and costs, including attorney's fees, which occur or arise as a result of any claim or injury or loss suffered by my child as a result of the use of The Davis Academy facilities during any classes at said facilities.

I, as parent or guardian of the minor under 18 years of age listed below, consent on behalf of said minor, to the terms and conditions set forth in this Waiver Form Agreement and Release of Liability.
