Calling actors, singers, dancers, acrobats, comedians, and crew members. There is a part for everyone on our stage and for all levels of time commitments. We enthusiastically invite all students to join us on stage for our biggest Broadway-style musical yet!

PLEASE READ

  • The school play is an after-school activity, and participation is contingent upon adhering to the academic and behavioral standards as detailed in the student handbook. 
  • A play activity fee of $250 per Middle School Student is due by November 21st.
  • The activity fee is non-refundable.
  • All MS cast and crew members will receive their initial schedule, scripts, and music the last week of November.
  • The scripts and shirts are for the students to keep. Please note: The activity fee must be paid to receive your materials. 
  • You must pay the activity fee if you wish to receive a  script before the auditions. 
  • Show Shirts will be handed out in early March. 
    The crew will receive an additional crew shirt as well. 
  • Please mark all rehearsals & show dates on your calendar as soon as you receive the schedule. 
  • Show information, communication, forms, and updates will be posted on The Davis Academy LMS Musical group and primarily on our show blog.
  • Attendance and promptness are extremely important.
  • Your child should attend all scheduled rehearsals for which part is called and be on time.
  • If your child incurs five or more unexcused rehearsals, he/she will be dismissed from the cast.
  • If student will be absent or tardy or is out due to an emergency, illness, or out-of-town/family milestones, please send an e-mail to dfrank@davisacademy.org and to kphillips@davisacademy.org to let us know.
