TRANSPORTATION ACCESSIBILITY PROGRAM

TAP = Transportation Accessibility Program

We recognize that young families are busier than ever and juggling school, work and personal responsibilities can be overwhelming. Our free bus transportation, carpool facilitation program, extended hours, and after school programming have been designed to make Davis more accessible for your family. Contact Lisa Mirsky, Director of Admissions at 678-527-3300 or lmirsky@davisacademy.org to learn more.

NEW: Free Bus Transportation Program

The Davis Academy is launching a pilot program for free bus transportation that will be available to students beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. We are currently exploring central routes to service families in Alpharetta/Johns Creek, Brookhaven, Buckhead/Chastain, Dunwoody, and East Roswell. Morning and afternoon bus service will be available to students in select areas with details regarding routes and registration coming soon.

Free Bus Shuttle Service Between Lower and Middle School

For your convenience, a shuttle bus is provided to transport students from the Middle School to the Lower School campus for afternoon carpool pick-up Monday through Thursday. This helps accommodate families with multiple siblings, and those who choose to carpool with students on each campus, for a convenient one-stop pick-up.

Carpool Facilitation

Looking for a carpool buddy to help with the morning and afternoon commute?  We can help connect you with other parents in your neighborhood to simplify the daily trips to and from school. Contact Lisa Mirsky, Director of Admissions at lmirsky@davisacademy.org for more details.

Extended Day Program

The Davis Academy Extended Day Program (EDP) is offered by contract as a convenience for parents whose work schedule extends beyond school hours. The program offers morning care and afternoon care with outdoor play and activities, and a period for homework.  Snacks are provided in the afternoon.

Morning EDP: Fee-based morning care is available at both the Lower School and the Middle School campus from 7:00 am – 7:30 am. This program will be available dependent upon the number of students enrolled.

Afternoon EDP, Fee-based afternoon care, which is located at the Lower School campus only, until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

An Extended Day Program Agreement form must be completed for each student in case of emergencies or late pick-up. Contact Jeff Rothstein at jrothstein@davisacademy.org for more details.

After School Enrichment Programs

The Davis Academy fee-based after school program offers a rich variety of opportunities for our students to explore, create, express, play, and learn. Monday through Thursday, students can be found immersed in artistic creation, dance activities, fitness-oriented programs, innovative technology offerings and many other programs that allow our students to pursue passions and interests guided by experts in their fields. Program offerings vary each semester.

Please contact Lisa Mirsky, Director of Admissions at lmirsky@davisacademy.org for the most recent After School program brochure.
